Apply Now TNPSC Group 4 notification released. online registration started from 10th August 2016 for filling 5451 post vacancies in various department in Tamilnadu .Tamilnadu Public Service Commission to conduct TNPSC Group 4 recruitment 2016, as usual, this year in the month of November 2016 .

TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2016 Application Fee:

  • Examination fee Rs.100/- (Rupees Hundred only)
  • Candidates have to register their basic particulars through One-Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs.50/- towards registration fee. The registration shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of one-time registration.

Who are eligible? 
  • Common qualification for all the posts is to pass the minimum 10th/SSLC exam to higher courses.
Other eligibility:
  • For typist: Should have cleared the Govt technical exam in typewriting.
  • For steno typist: Should have cleared the Govt technical exam in typewriting and shorthand.

Max age limit:
35 years (SC/ST & people trained in ITI).
32 years (MBC, BC, BC muslim).
30 years (Others).

Keep in mind, that you need to enter TNPSC Group 4 application number to download tnpsc group 4 hall ticket online . So don’t forgot the group 4 registration details .

TNPSC Group 4 Eligibility :

Age Limit :
The minimum age limit for Group 4 exam is 18 years while the maximum age for SC / ST / SCA is 35 yrs, 32 yrs for MBC / BC / BCM , 30 yrs for OC .

TNPSC Group 4 Education Qualification :

Candidates should have completed SSLC , HSC, College degree which varies for various technical posts .
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
(a) FOR TYPIST:
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.
(b) FOR STENO-TYPIST, GRADE III :
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.
Candidates who possess intermediate grade shall choose Junior Grade column, as the intermediate grade is not treated as equivalent to Senior Grade.
Candidates for both the posts i.e. Typist and Steno-Typist, Grade III Shall be selected in the following Order:-
a. Candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (i) above will be considered first for selection.
b. In case candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (i) above are not available, candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (ii) above will be considered for selection.
c. In case candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (i) and (ii) above are not available, candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (iii) above will be considered for selection.
(C) Computer Qualification (for Typist and Steno-Typist, Grade III):-
Candidates should have passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.
Note:
“Candidates who do not possess the said qualification (viz., Computer Qualification) conducted by the Technical Education Department may also apply. If selected, they should acquire such qualification within the period of their probation”.
(D) Preference in Selection
In respect of post of Field Surveyor other things being equal preference shall be given to the candidates with ITI qualification in survey.
