Candidates applying for these posts should have above 18 years and below 28 years age.
Educational criteria
Educational Qualification – Candidates who wants to apply for these posts should posses:
Candidates must possess Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with Proficiency in Local language Officer Scale-I Post and Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with Proficiency in Local Language for Office Assistant Post.

Language Proficiency
The candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office
Assistants –(Multipurpose) are required to possess proficiency in the local/native language of the
Tamil Nadu state (The condition does not apply for the posts of Officer Scale II and III). For
ensuring proficiency in local/native language, the candidate should have –
a. Local language i.e. Tamil at 10thStd level
OR
b. Native language i.e. Tamil at 10thStd level
OR
c. Local language i.e. Tamil at any level above 10th Std and upto graduation level
Assistants –(Multipurpose) are required to possess proficiency in the local/native language of the
Tamil Nadu state (The condition does not apply for the posts of Officer Scale II and III). For
