UPSC CDS exam 2015 online application

Union Public service commission (UPSC) has issued notification for Combined Defense Service Exam 2014. Candidates who wish to apply for CDS exam may download the online application from the official website.

Applications can be filled till 5th December, 2014. For more details, candidates may refer the below notification. UPSC will conduct Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS- I) on 15th February 2015.

Educational qualification

I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy- Candidates should hold a degree from a recognized university or equivalent

Indian Naval Academy- Candidates should have degree in Engineering for CDSE.

Air Force Academy- Candidates should hold a degree from a recognized university with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or BE degree.

Application fee

General candidates- Rs 200/-

SC/ Female candidates are exempted from application fee.

Note: Fee should be deposited in the form of cash at any branch of SBI OR by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore OR by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

Fee payment through any other mode apart from the above mentioned will not be accepted.

How to apply

• Log on to the official website at www.upsconline.nic.in
• Click the link titled as UPSC CDS exam 2015.
• Click> online application.
• Download the application and read the instructions given in the application.
• Fill the application in good handwriting to facilitate error-free data processing.
• All the entries mentioned in the application should be clear and readable.
• Application form can be either filled in English or in Hindi.
• Ensure the application filled is identical to the prescribed format.
• Submit the filled application and note the reg no for future reference.
• Take a printout of the confirmation page.

Important dates

Closing date for submission of application – 5th December 2014

Date of examination – 15th February 2015.
