• Former foreign minister Peter Mutharika has been on oath as the new president of Malawi.
• Salvador Sanchez Ceren Elected  as the President of El Salvador.

3rd June 2014

• Indian Air Force (IAF) mountaineering endeavor group investigated an unclimbed crest of Mt Gorichen (5587 meters) in Arunachal Pradesh. The group was headed by Wing Commander D Panda. This was the first endeavor of IAF into this area of Eastern Himalayas.
• Union Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde met by road accident and Passed away on 3rd June 2014 at the age of 64 years.
• Kavery Benerjee has appointed as Secretary for Department of Posts on 31st May by Appointments of the Cabinet Committee (ACC).
• According to the report of the Ministry of Defence released on 2nd June 2014 Indian Air force and French Air Force together conducting joint  exercise on  ” Ex Garuda V” at Jodhpur Air Base.
• CM of UP State, Akhilesh Yadav ordered to arrange a help line for women in each District of UP state.
• RCGA’s Pathology Lab MPEDA became India’s first Accredited Aquaculture Pathology Lab.
