IBPS SO - Marketing Officer Syllabus

Banks conducts specialist officers’ exam (IT Officer, Marketing Manager, Finance Manager & Agriculture Officer etc.).

Specialist exam contains a separate section, based on the chosen specialization other than usual sections - Quant, English, GK & Reasoning.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection for posts of Specialist Officers is done through written test and interview.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN TEST 
Most General Format-

• Maximum Marks: 200
• Time Allowed: 120 Minutes (2 Hours)
• The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. 

SECTIONS :

• Professional Knowledge - 75 Marks
• English Language - 25 Marks
• Quantitative Aptitude - 50 Marks
• Reasoning Ability - 50 Questions

ELIGIBILITY:

FOR MARKETING OFFICER:-
MBA with specialization in Marketing from the University / Institute recognized by Govt. of India and working knowledge of MS Office.

FOR  IT OFFICER:-
B.Tech.  or  B.E. or MCA from the University / Institute recognized by Govt. of India and working knowledge of MS Office.

• Marketing Mix (4-Ps of Marketing)
• Brand Management
• Services Marketing (Additional 3-Ps i.e. People, Process & Physical Evidence )
• IPR (Intellectual Property Rights i.e. copyrights, trademarks, patents)
• Marketing Strategy (Horizontal, Vertical, Backward)
• Corporate Social Responsibility
• Business Ethics
• Brief knowledge of Retail Management
